All ages were represented as amongst the volunteers we had senior cricketers, wives, girlfriends, junior players and also Juniors parents.
The day kicked off with Malcolm Austin turning up two hours early at 9am with sandpaper, brushes and stepladders whilst more and more volunteers turned up throughout the morning and into the afternoon even necessitating a second paint run by Danny McConnell.

The cricket force project is just another example of how volunteers drive the club development process, the national programme actually attracted 85,000 volunteers across 1,514 ECB affiliated clubs, if you would like to learn more please look at please log on to www.ecb.co.uk/natwestcricketforce and www.ecb.co.uk/natwestoscas where you may gain some ideas how you can help our club!
Once again a huge thank you all who volunteered and I am sure we will all enjoy the fruits of your labour playing cricket at Foxgrove this year. The day was such a success that Ray has already starting planning what we can help with next year, so make sure you clear your diaries next year and get invloved.
